Additionally, fried chicken fans will appreciate the top-notch offerings at Restaurant Dago, which many customers label as superior to other Korean chicken restaurants in the area.
Beyond the flavors, what adds to the experience at Restaurant Dago is the ambiance and the service. “ food’s super tasty and the portions are huge! You have to try the chicken gochumaneul!! it’s the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and savory. I got the small size, but honestly, it’s enough for 2-3 people. The buldak cheese is bomb too, and the japchae is on point. Definitely worth it ”
“ Korean restaurant that has stood the test of time serving all chicken favorites, but their specialty is the soup the Samgyetang. It’s a whole chicken or you can get half a chicken; stuffed with sticky rice and cook in a herbal concoction. The flavor is complex yet also light, it is rich and deep. The other items like the fried chicken and dak galbi are okay, I recommend getting the samgyetang if you are here. ”
“ I tried several dishes here including Spicy Cold Noodle, Chadol Sundubu Jigae, Japchae, and Gochuma-neul Chicken. The food was flavorful and authentic with generous portions especially the Sundubu Jigae which had a nice spicy kick and rich broth. The Japchae was light and well seasoned, while the fried chicken was crispy and coated with a delicious sauce. However, the service could be more attentive it took a while to get our orders and some staff seemed a bit overwhelmed during peak hours. The atmosphere was cozy and clean, making it a nice spot for lunch or casual dinner. Overall, great food and comfortable setting, just hope the service improves a bit! ”
“ We had a late lunch at this Dago and ordered grilled mackerel, steamed egg and kimbab, plus four condiments, all seen in pictures. The mackerel never disappointed me; it was soft and tasty. The kimbab was also soft and tasty. The egg was okay, like in any other Korean restaurants. The condiments added up our excitement. The service and ambience were not extraordinary. We spent around 270k for 3 people, or about 90k per person. It was actually a good deal for such quality foods. Coming back after two years, we ordered a variety of dishes, such as haemul pajeon, chadol sundubu, and ori hunjae, plus banchan. Of them all, I liked the hunjae (duck). It was smokey, tender, and juicy. The flavorful sundubu was the runner-up. The pajeon was a very distant third. I also liked most of the banchan. ”
“ Here for the fried chicken, little did I know the have one of the best jjampongs in town!! (Sorry I took the pic of the chicken only) Overall it was a good experience. The foods taste fresh and served hot, waitresses and waiters are all in a standby mode 24/7 but not in an uncomfortable way (iykyk). I think they just need to add more restrooms. ”
